--------------------------------------------------Chapters 1, 2. 3, 4, 5 CHAPTER 3 Back at the hotel… With revenge still on our minds, Craig and I noticed all the snow on the ground. As Ed got out of his truck I pelted him with the biggest snowball I could make. One down…one to go… We finished our food and heard the ruckus going on around us in the hotel. Chris took a break from his texting (I am now convinced that Chris’ cell phone injects him with heroin every time he types) and we went out to see what all the commotion was about. Ed and Craig were shot from all the driving and Oren needed some well deserved rest so they all turned in. So half the A-team, Face and Murdock (guess who is who? lol) joined in the festivities. To our dismay the whole thing was a giant Sausage Fest but there was plenty of beer and smoke to go around so it was a kewl guy’s night out kind of thing. I enjoyed my Diet Coke and had some great laughs with everyone. There were like 5 other bands from the conference right near us in the hotel so we jumped around from room to room and there was a different adventure each place we went. Apparently, there was a professional yodeler among us as well as a drunken comedian. At one point he walked into a wall with a glass of something or other and it shattered. I kicked the glass to the side cause he was running around in the snow with his socks on. The smoking, drinking and the yodeling continued as another band joined us after their show ended. Among them was a really cute girl and my first thought was that she was a girlfriend of one of the guys in the band. When I found out that she was in the band, I immediately sought out Face for some coaching. He had disappeared. Murdock was on his own. About an hour later I found out that she was not single so I hung around for another half hour or so then went back to the hotel room. Face’s smack-phone had him in a nod as he was still texting at 4am. I was still full of energy so I exercised a bit as Army Boy coached me. My body was numb when I was finished. I’d last about 30 seconds in the army. I then meditated for half an hour and fell right asleep.
